Earth Science: Heeding its Wonders

The lesson for this quarter is all about Earth Science. I like the idea of learning about the planet we live in. I've learned about the layers of the earth, tectonic plates, how mountain ranges were formed, and I also learned about volcanoes and different water forms. Of course those aren't the only topics I've learned but I can't just go on and on and on with lists of topics that are under Earth Science. The topics are all interesting and aren't that hard to understand especially with Sir Romie providing us with powerpoint presentations and videos to even further expand our knowledge about our topic.

I learned a lot from earth science. It was also fun because we get to learn a lot from something that we live in. It’s simply amazing to realize that we are nothing compared to the size of the earth that we lived in. It’s also amazing to know how the earth is so diverse. One of the most amazing things i have learned in the layers of the earth. Knowing how deep, thick, and large each layer of the earth is fascinating. Realizing that the core in the absolute middle of the earth is what pulls us all down which is a large solid and very very hot iron. Earth, the home that we live in is a very interesting place.

This quarter I have learned so much about the earth especially about the volcanoes. I've learned all about the types of the volcanoes and all of the function of each type of volcanoes. I have also learned about the earthquakes and all of the instruments for earthquakes. It that topic really changed my mind about earthquakes, it is really frightening that any time an earthquake may hit, so that is why we should all be prepared. I also learned what to do and bring when there's an earthquake, it is safe to stay indoors if you are indoors because it increases the chance of you being alive. There are a lot of events that happened this quarter, it was fun even though the pressure is unbearable, to be honest, I really enjoyed this quarter but sadly every good thing must come to an end. But I am looking forward for a school year like this again in senior high school or in college, It was a privilege being one of Mr. Dolor's student because that man is so kind and generous, I will never forget him even if he's switching schools, I'm just so grateful that he became my teacher and it would be a delight if he became my teacher again.

Our topic this 4th quarter in Science is earth science. It is the study of earth and space. Earth Science affects our everyday lives. The lesson this quarter is very interesting and by far the best one for me. We mainly studied about geology. I learned about the physical geography of earth. I learned more about earthquakes and it's faults. Another thing that I have learned more about is kinds of water uses and mountain ranges. The topic this quarter wasn't very hard nor easy. This quarter made me understand more about earth science. I learned more because of the lessons our teacher thought us about.

Earth Science is a topic that I really wanted to learn. It isn't just a topic for me, that’s why. It made learn about how the Earth works, how my home is. I know this sounds incredibly stupid but the Earth is special to me and that is why I like this topic. I learned the kinds of water uses, volcanic eruptions or activities, how the countries were formed, and many more. I learned a lot about this topic and it's all thanks to Sir Dolor.

Earth Science is related to the planet Earth. It can be about geology, the lithosphere or like the layers of the Earth. I'm really interested about this topic because it is easy to understand unlike the other lessons before. It's just all about planet Earth. Like how earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruption, etc. happen. It's just simple but there's a lot to memorize or remember. This is the last topic for the school year so I'm really glad that Sir Romie was able to teach us about this lesson.
